AI visit counter

A free counter that shows how many people ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Copilot and Gemini actually sent to your site. One line of code, or a WordPress plugin, and nothing about your visitors leaves the site. Seventeen assistants are told apart by name, from ChatGPT to Alice.

What you get

How it works

  1. Say what your site runs on. Type your address and we tell you, or pick your platform from the list.
  2. Paste one line, or install the plugin. The instructions are written for your platform, in the words of somebody who has never opened an HTML file.
  3. Watch. Open your private link whenever you like. Once a week we write to you if anybody arrived.

What it is not for

Why I share this

I sell property to international buyers. It is a niche where a single advertising lead costs more than most products on this page, and where the buyer reads for weeks before writing to anyone. For years the enquiries came from paid ads. Then I built content sites that answer the questions those buyers ask, and the enquiries started arriving on their own: from Google first, then, more and more, from ChatGPT and Perplexity, which quote the pages when someone asks.

The numbers are on the cases page, site by site: clicks from Google up 249 percent across thirteen sites in more than ten countries, the first 28 days of June against the 28 days to 25 September 2026, and a new site that went from 3 clicks in its first 28 days to 98. Every tool on this page is a piece of the pipeline behind those sites, stripped of my data and packaged so you can run it in your own niche: the method for finding what a market actually searches for, the page shapes that get quoted, and the checks that stop a bad page from going live.

I am not a software company. I am an operator who got tired of paying for every lead, and these are the tools I use every week. If they work for you the way they work for me, tell me; if they do not, the refund policy says exactly what comes back and when.

Frequently asked questions

Why does my analytics not show this?
It usually does, buried. A visit from an assistant arrives as a referral from chatgpt.com or perplexity.ai, one row among hundreds that nobody opens, and many land in direct traffic because the assistant strips the referrer. Nothing is broken: the number is simply on no screen you look at.
Does it slow the site down?
No. Three lines run in the visitor’s browser and send one request only when that visitor came from an assistant. For everybody else nothing happens. It also keeps working behind a page cache, where counting during the page build would miss most of the traffic.
Is ordinary search counted too?
No, deliberately. Referrals from Yandex and DuckDuckGo search are not assistant answers, and counting them would inflate your number against the analytics you would compare it with. Alice and the DuckDuckGo assistant have their own addresses and only those count.
What if it says nothing was counted?
Press the button that checks your site. We look at your page and tell you whether the line is there, including the case where it is there but carrying somebody else’s key. If it is there, you are simply waiting.
