Terms of service

The rules for using this site, the free tools, the paid products and the audit. Plain language, no surprises. The short version on money: Watch starts with 7 free days and paid periods are not refunded; seven days to ask for a refund on the Site Kit, the course and Pain to SEO; a full refund on the audit until data collection starts.

1. Who we are

OperStack is a trading name used by Maksim Shchegolev, who operates it as a sole trader from Argentina ("OperStack", "we"). Questions, billing and legal: info@oper-stack.com.

2. What these terms cover

The website oper-stack.com, the free tools published under the OperStack name (the AI visibility check, the AI visit counter, the sixteen gates, the Astro starter, the Claude Code plugin and the MCP server), the subscription OperStack Watch, the paid products (the Invisible to ChatGPT course, Pain to SEO and the Site Kit) and the services ordered through the site (the SEO, AEO and GEO audit, and the Fix and Foundation work quoted in writing). By using the site or ordering a product you accept these terms. The Site Kit also has its own end user licence agreement, shown at purchase; where the two differ, the licence agreement governs the kit.

3. Free and open-source products

The gates (@operstack/gates), the local MCP package (@operstack/mcp) and the audit engine behind the free check (@operstack/audit) are published on npm under the MIT licence. That licence governs them, not these terms. They are provided as is, without warranty of any kind.

The AI visibility check reads public pages of the site you enter and returns a score. It is a free, best-effort tool: the score is a reading of public signals on the day of the check, not a certification. You may run it on any public site; do not automate it beyond a few checks a minute.

4. Paid products and services

OperStack Watch. A subscription at $35 a month or $299 a year. The first 7 days are free: a card is taken at checkout, and nothing is charged if you cancel within them. In the free days you get the first report, every finding by name and one fix written out in full. Full fix list and weekly progress unlock with your first payment. After that it renews each month or each year until you cancel. Cancel any time: you are not charged again, and the weekly reports run to the end of the period already paid for. Periods already paid for are not refunded.
Invisible to ChatGPT. A course for one payment of $25: fourteen lessons and eight files that open in your Whop account.
Pain to SEO. One payment of $69 for one licence per owner, for any number of sites.
Site Kit. A licence to use the kit under its licence agreement: one licence per owner, or an agency licence quoted separately, as written into the key. Any updates we release within twelve months of purchase are included.
Audit. Paying brings an email with a link to a form where you name the site. A report of roughly fifteen pages, plus an appendix listing every page we read, then arrives as a PDF within the hour, with the finished files attached. Within five working days a person goes over the same report by hand and writes separately. It also includes three re-checks of the same site by the same code, at 30, 60 and 90 days.
Fix and Foundation. Work on your site, quoted in writing (Foundation after the audit). The list of work is agreed before you pay, and the work starts only when you accept the quote.

Descriptions, prices and what each product includes are on the product pages and on the pricing page. Prices are in US dollars. The Whop checkout shows the final amount before you pay.

5. Ordering and payment

Paid products and the Watch subscription are sold through Whop (whop.com). Whop's name is on the checkout page and on your receipt. It takes the payment, and refunds go back through it under our refund policy. We never see your card number.

For the audit, you pay first, and the email that follows carries the form where you name the site. Fix and Foundation have no buy button: the list of work is agreed in writing, and the payment link follows by email.

6. Delivery

Licence keys go to the email on the order within minutes of payment; if nothing has arrived in an hour, write to info@oper-stack.com. Audits are delivered by email as a PDF. Watch reports arrive by email every week and are also on My Watch. The course opens in your Whop account. Nothing is shipped physically.

7. Refunds

The refund policy is part of these terms. In short: 7 free days on Watch and no refund of periods already paid for; seven days for the Site Kit, the course and Pain to SEO; a full refund on the audit until data collection starts.

8. Your responsibilities

You own the sites you build with the kit and the content you publish. You are responsible for its accuracy and for the laws of your market.
Keep your licence key private. Sharing it or removing the licence check ends the licence.
Do not use the site, the tools or the products for anything illegal, for spam, or to attack other sites.
Keep the details you give us (email, company, site) accurate so we can deliver and support.

9. Intellectual property

The OperStack name and logo, the texts on this site, the paid modules of the Site Kit and the audit reports are ours or licensed to us. The MIT-licensed products are yours to use under that licence. An audit report is yours to use inside your company and with your contractors. You may quote this site with attribution and a link.

10. No promises about rankings, traffic or leads

Search engines and AI answer engines change without notice. Our tools and reports describe what a site does today and what is likely to help; they do not promise a ranking, a citation, a traffic figure or a number of leads, and nothing on this site is a forecast. The products are provided as is, and to the extent the law allows we exclude implied warranties.

11. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim connected with a product or service is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for lost profit, lost data or indirect loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including the protections consumers have under their own law.

12. Changes

We may update these terms; the date at the top changes with them. An order keeps the terms that were in force when it was placed.

13. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic. Before any court, write to info@oper-stack.com: most issues are solved by email within a week. If you are a consumer, the mandatory protections of your own country stay in place.
