OperStack vs Goodie: a $35 weekly letter with the fix written, or a $478.80 AEO platform for a brand team
OperStack Watch costs $35 a month: every week it asks ChatGPT and Perplexity ten buyer questions, names who they recommend instead of you and sends the text to paste on your page. Goodie Core, its cheapest brand plan, cost $478.80 a month billed monthly on 29 September 2026, or $399 a month on an annual bill, for 120 prompts a day across five AI engines.
OperStack is our product. We compare documented scope and prices, with sources and limits shown below.
Choose OperStack if
- You want one letter a week that says whether ChatGPT and Perplexity named you for ten buyer questions and who they named instead, not a platform with seats, credits and agent tokens to manage
- You want the paragraph itself, written only from facts on your own pages, with the address of the page it goes on
- You want a result before you pay or sign up: the free check reads ten pages and asks ChatGPT three buyer questions with no account
- $35 a month or $299 a year fits better than $478.80 a month or $4,788 a year for Goodie Core
When Goodie is the better choice
- You run a brand team that needs revenue attribution from GA4, Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools
- You need many countries and languages, SKU-level shopping visibility or SOC 2 paperwork for procurement

What you get for $35: one real week of OperStack Watch
This is the actual first report for a Phuket property brand we run, run on 26 September 2026 by the same code subscribers get. We hide the brand name because it is our own site, not a client.
Watch keeps this work going every 7 days: the same 10 buyer questions, the businesses named in the answers, 3 rivals measured beside your site and repeated page checks. Later reports compare the new observation with the previous week and include proposed fixes for the pages checked. You review and publish the changes.
-
"Best property advisors for foreign buyers in Phuket?"
not named Named instead: Butler Estates, Freedom Group Real Estate, ZODIAC Co., Ltd., Storm Real Estate, Subata Realty
-
"Which property buyer’s advisors should I use for researching beachfront and branded residences in Phuket?"
not named Named instead: Butler Estates, Issara Property, Pearl Property Phuket, Subata Realty, Twins Real Estate
-
"Who can help me compare Phuket condo and villa projects with a shortlist?"
named the site Also named: Etagi, Colliers, THAI.ESTATE, AIProperty Phuket
The fix of the week, as it arrived
For the question "Top firms to help foreign buyers evaluate Phuket developments before reservation?"
Add this to your homepage, just below the first section.
Before you publish: add the words "developments" to this paragraph if you sell them.
Every sentence in the paragraph comes from the site's own pages; the tool checks each one against a quote before it goes in. Answers change from run to run, so Watch asks the same ten questions every week and shows the trend. Seven days free, then $35 a month.
What are OperStack and Goodie for?
OperStack Watch sends one business a weekly letter for $35 a month: ten buyer questions put to ChatGPT and Perplexity, the names given instead of yours, and the paragraph to paste. Goodie Core, at $478.80 billed monthly on 3 October 2026, is an answer engine optimization platform for brand teams, tracking 120 prompts daily across five engines.
OperStack is our product, and we wrote this comparison. Every Goodie figure below comes from Goodie’s own pricing page, feature pages and Services Agreement, read on 3 October 2026; the table above links each one.
| OperStack Watch | Goodie Core | |
|---|---|---|
| Who reads it | The owner, in an email | A marketing team, in a platform |
| Engines | ChatGPT and Perplexity | 5, including ChatGPT and Perplexity |
| Questions | 10 a week, fixed | 120 prompts, daily |
| Written output | One paragraph for one page, from your facts | Generated articles and optimizations on credits |
| Monthly bill | $35 | $478.80 |
Where OperStack is stronger for a single business
- The price. Watch is priced at $35 per month on our pricing page, or $299 when paid for a year. Goodie Core billed monthly is $478.80, almost fourteen times more, and $4,788 a year on the annual bill.
- A result before any account. The free AI visibility check takes an address, reads up to ten pages and asks ChatGPT three buyer questions live. Goodie’s free tools are a technical audit of the homepage and well-known paths, an llms.txt generator and an industry index.
- Names, not only share of voice. Watch lists the businesses ChatGPT and Perplexity named instead of you, with the count for each, and measures three rivals beside you.
- Text limited to what your site says. The weekly fix is a paragraph built from facts on your own pages, with the page address. Nothing new is invented for you to check.
- Nothing to meter. Goodie Core has 50 action credits and 40 million agent tokens a month. Watch has no meter at all.
- Nothing to connect, no developer. Watch needs a site address. Most fixes are text to paste, and the few that need a developer are marked.
- Leaving is simple. Cancel from the link in any Watch email, and nothing is charged in the first 7 days.
What the free check shows before you pay anything
Type an address and nothing else. The check picks as many as ten pages via the sitemap, gives the site a mark out of 100, and then sends ChatGPT, with web search switched on, three questions that customers of a business like yours typically type. The result splits the names it got back into real rivals, names that are not rivals such as directories and portals, and names it could not place. Where a sampled page lacks an opening answer, the result adds a ready opening paragraph for it, built from your own pages, with a button to copy it. Three of these ChatGPT runs are available per connection per day.
Goodie, in plain words
Goodie describes itself as an end-to-end AEO platform that researches prompts, monitors mentions, citations and sentiment, takes optimization actions across owned and earned channels, and attributes revenue. Core is self-serve; Pro and Enterprise begin with a demo and scoping call.
How much does Goodie cost over a year?
Goodie Core billed monthly came to $5,745.60 a year on 3 October 2026 by our arithmetic, and $4,788 on the annual bill. Watch costs $420 paid monthly for twelve months, or $299 for the year. Both totals are before tax, and Goodie’s page shows prices in US dollars.
| Plan | Billed monthly | Billed annually | Trial | Card at signup | Engines |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Goodie Core | $478.80 | $399 a month, $4,788 a year | 7 days | Not stated | 5 |
| Goodie Pro | $1,198.80 | $999 a month, $11,988 a year | Demo first | Not stated | 8 |
| Goodie Enterprise | Custom | Custom | Demo first | Not stated | Up to 13 |
| Goodie Agency Growth | Not offered | $275 a month ($330 quarterly) | Demo first | Not stated | 3 per pitch |
| OperStack Watch | $35 | $299 a year | 7 days | Yes | 2 |
The annual Goodie totals are our multiplication of the monthly rate the page shows when the toggle is set to annual billing, which Goodie labels “2 Months Free”. The monthly rate is the same page with the toggle on monthly billing.
What the Goodie price includes
Goodie Core bundles far more than monitoring into its $478.80 monthly price, and a small business pays for all of it whether or not anyone uses it. On 3 October 2026 the plan listed 120 tracked prompts collected daily across five engines, one brand, five seats, two countries and two languages, a Page Visibility Scorecard for up to 10 pages, 50 action credits and 40 million Goodie Agent tokens a month, MCP access, and integrations with GA4, Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools. Support is email only, with a 30-minute onboarding call and AEO strategist support. The Goodie Agent is metered in tokens, and the page says a deeper multi-step request uses more of them. OperStack Watch has one flat price of $35 with no credits or tokens: ten questions, two engines, three rivals, ten pages and the weekly fix. For a clinic or a law firm with no marketing team, most of the Goodie bundle has no one to operate it.
The agency route costs extra on top. Agency Growth at $275 a month gives ten pitch workspaces, each running for seven days on three engines and 30 prompts. A client you win then needs its own workspace on a brand plan, from $399 a month.
How does Goodie check AI visibility, and how does OperStack?
Goodie Core runs 120 prompts through five engines every day and scores up to 10 pages for visibility. Watch asks ChatGPT and Perplexity 10 fixed buyer questions once a week with web search on, re-scores 10 pages and names who was recommended instead. Both show competitors; they differ in scale, frequency and output.
| Goodie Core | OperStack Watch | |
|---|---|---|
| What you enter | Brand, prompts from onboarding, competitors | A site address |
| Engines | ChatGPT, AI Overview, Perplexity, AI Mode, Copilot | ChatGPT and Perplexity, web search on |
| Questions | 120 prompts, swappable up to the limit | 10 buyer questions, changeable from the email |
| Frequency | Daily | Every 7 days |
| Your pages | Page Visibility Scorecard, up to 10 | 10 pages scored on five areas |
| Output | Visibility, citations, sentiment, share of voice, revenue attribution | Named or not per question, names instead, one paragraph to paste |
The OperStack score ties the answers to your pages. Its five parts are public: crawler access for 14 AI crawlers and fetchers (25 points), a working llms.txt (15), schema naming the business (20), quotable content with a short answer and a figure under the heading (25), and dates and named sources (15). A page that loses points on the quotable part is the page the weekly fix is written for.
Goodie measures differently. Its FAQ says visibility is measured “daily through scaled, intentional prompting”, tracking citation frequency, ranking position, sentiment and share of voice. That gives a brand team a trend line with many data points. Watch keeps the same ten questions from week to week so the owner can compare like with like, and puts the date on every result, because an AI answer to one question can change between two runs.
Where ten questions are not enough
Ten questions a week is a deliberate limit, and it has a cost. A company selling in five countries, or a brand with forty product lines, cannot see every market in ten answers, and a weekly run will miss a change that happened on Tuesday and reversed by Friday. Watch also asks two engines, so a buyer who uses Copilot or Google AI Mode is outside its view. For a business with one service area and a handful of services, those limits rarely matter; for a multinational brand they decide the choice.
A check you can run yourself today
Before paying for either tool, open ChatGPT, turn web search on and ask the question your best customer would type, with your city in it, for example “which family dentist in Leeds takes new patients on Saturdays”. Write down every business named. Then open our free check and compare its three answers with yours. If your list and ours both leave you out, you already know which gap Watch will track.
What an owner gets on Monday: a platform to run or a letter to act on
Watch sends one email every 7 days, counted from the subscription date, with the ten questions, the names given instead of yours and the fix of the week. Goodie Core presents daily data in dashboards and an Optimization Hub; a built-in weekly email is not stated on its pricing page, checked on 3 October 2026.
The Watch letter, in the order it arrives:
- How many of the ten answers named you, and the change since last week.
- Who ChatGPT and Perplexity named instead, by name, with the count for each.
- Your share of answers against each rival named most.
- The sites and pages ChatGPT read to answer, and where you need to get mentioned.
- How ChatGPT described you, with the quote, when an answer said more than your name.
- Your ten-page score, measured again.
- The fix of the week: the page address and the text to paste.
In the free week the first report, every finding by name and one fix written out in full are open; the full fix list and week-by-week progress unlock with the first payment. The report shown above is one real week of that letter.
The same report is also on My Watch, a private page with every past week and this week’s fix, and inside Claude, Cursor and Codex: a subscriber adds a personal key and asks for the report in the chat. Goodie’s MCP, by its own description, is for lookup and reporting, and acting on a recommendation happens inside Goodie.
Goodie’s Optimization Hub, by its own description, can create or optimize content, fix technical signals and target outreach, and every plan includes the full action layer. On Core that work runs on 50 action credits a month, and generated drafts are edited inside Goodie and then published or exported. A brand team with an editor gets a production line. A small business owner gets something to supervise: drafts to review for accuracy, credits to spend and prompts to curate. OperStack Watch hands over a narrower thing each week, one paragraph for one page, and every sentence in it is built from facts already published on that site, so the owner checks it against the business in about the time it takes to read it. Goodie’s own Services Agreement also leaves generated content from its content writer outside its infringement indemnity, which is one more reason to read any draft before it goes live.
When you need a different kind of tool
Goodie Core lists 120 daily prompts, 5 engines, 5 seats and 3 analytics integrations. That describes a brand marketing team with a budget near $5,000 a year and someone to operate the platform. Those are real jobs, and they sit outside what Watch does.
- Revenue attribution that joins AI visibility to GA4, Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools data.
- Several countries and languages at once, and multi-brand reporting on Enterprise.
- SKU-level shopping visibility on Pro, for retailers selling through AI assistants.
- SOC 2 compliance, SSO and API access that a procurement team asks for.
If that is your job, it needs a team and a larger budget. If the question is simpler, whether buyers are told your name and what to change on the page, that is the job Watch was built for, and the pricing page shows what it includes.
Which fits a dental practice, a ten-client agency, a software firm or a store?
A clinic or law firm paying $35 a month gets ten local buyer questions and a paragraph to paste. A 10-client agency pays $350 a month on Watch, against $275 for Goodie’s pitch plan before any client workspace. A SaaS company and a shop differ mainly in how many products must be covered.
| Business | What to pick | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Dental clinic or law firm | OperStack Watch | Ten local questions, named rivals, a paragraph for the service page |
| Agency with ten clients | Watch per client, free MCP for pitches | $350 a month in total, no annual bill, a letter to forward |
| SaaS company | Watch, unless a brand team needs attribution | Shortlist questions in ChatGPT and Perplexity each week |
| Online shop | Watch for store-level questions | Product-by-product tracking is a different job |
A clinic. Patients ask which practice takes new patients, in which area, at what price. Watch asks ten questions of that kind every week and names the practices recommended instead. Goodie Core would give the same clinic 120 prompts and five seats, which is more capacity than a front desk will use.
An agency. On Watch, every client site produces its own letter, and the agency forwards a finished edit instead of a brief. Before a pitch, our free MCP server puts the prospect beside as many as three competitors on the same 100-point score, from inside the assistant the account manager already uses, without creating an account. Our Profound comparison covers another enterprise platform agencies meet.
A SaaS company. Buyers ask ChatGPT and Perplexity for alternatives. Watch reports whether you made that shortlist each week, and the fix usually lands on the page a buyer compares first, often pricing or an alternatives page. See also how we compare with AthenaHQ.
A shop. Watch answers whether the store is named when buyers ask where to get a product type. Catalog tracking, which Goodie sells on Pro, sits outside OperStack. For a store, the useful split is simple: the free check says whether AI crawlers can open the product and category pages, and the ten Watch questions go to the categories that bring the most revenue.
Running Goodie and OperStack together, or moving over
Watch costs $35 a month beside any platform, so a Goodie customer can add it for the written fix without dropping daily dashboards. Moving fully means going from five engines to two and from 120 prompts to 10. Check the renewal term first: annual plans need 30 days’ written notice.
What Watch adds next to Goodie: a paragraph for the weak page written only from your own facts, the names ChatGPT and Perplexity gave instead of you in plain words, and a ten-page score that shows which technical item holds a page back. Our Peec AI comparison and Scrunch AI comparison show the same pairing with other trackers.
Steps for switching:
- Put your address into the free check and set its list of named businesses beside the competitor list inside your Goodie workspace.
- Pick the ten Goodie prompts closest to a purchase; you can swap them into Watch from the link in the first email.
- Subscribe from the pricing page: no charge for a week, and a reminder email arrives 2 days before billing starts.
- On a monthly Goodie plan, cancel before the end of the billing cycle. On a quarterly or annual plan, send written notice at least 30 days before the term ends.
- Export any dashboard history you want to keep before access ends, because Goodie’s agreement says it may delete customer data after termination.
Goodie’s Services Agreement sets the exit rules, and they matter more on an annual bill of $4,788. Subscriptions renew automatically for a period equal to the one ending. On a monthly subscription either side can cancel before the end of the billing cycle, and the cancellation takes effect at the end of that cycle. On any other term, including quarterly and annual billing, the agreement asks for at least 30 days’ written notice of non-renewal before the term ends, and Goodie will send notice of renewal and any price change at least 30 days in advance. Fees are non-refundable regardless of actual usage; prepaid unused fees are returned only after an uncured material breach by Goodie. OperStack Watch runs month to month or year to year, can be cancelled from the link in any email, charges nothing inside the first 7 days, and does not refund periods already paid. Put the Goodie notice date in a calendar before starting the move.
What our free check measured on Goodie’s own site
The OperStack free check scored higoodie.com at 88 out of 100 on 29 September 2026, reading 10 pages from a sitemap of 146. For comparison, an early sample of 496 small-business websites (25 September 2026) found an average of 70, and just 4 of them reached 90, which puts Goodie’s site near the top of that range. Full study: 731 checks.
| Area | higoodie.com | Maximum |
|---|---|---|
| Crawlers allowed in | 25 | 25 |
| An llms.txt file | 15 | 15 |
| Business identified in schema | 20 | 20 |
| Quotable content | 17 | 25 |
| Dates and sources | 11 | 15 |
| Total | 88 | 100 |
The twelve points Goodie lost sit in the two areas that need writing rather than configuration. Only 2 of the 10 pages opened with a short answer carrying a figure right under the heading, including the homepage, and 5 of 7 pages that stated figures did not say where they came from.
That pattern repeats on sites of every size. Crawler rules, an llms.txt file and schema are set once. An opening answer and a named source have to be written page by page, and that is the part Watch writes for you each week, from what the page already says.
A practical test for your own site takes five minutes:
- Open your three most important service pages.
- Read only the first paragraph under the heading. Does it answer the question a buyer would ask, with one number in it?
- Find every figure on the page and check whether the sentence names its source.
The early sample behind those figures is the OperStack free check run on 25 September 2026 over 496 small-business sites in the US, the UK, Australia and Canada (law firms, real estate, dental), with an average of 70 and a median of 73. For context on our own examples, see the cases page.
Our own site on the same check: oper-stack.com scores 93 out of 100 over 10 pages, measured on 7 October 2026. The number is measured again on every build of this site and never typed by hand.

Frequently asked questions
- How much does Goodie cost?
- On 3 October 2026 Goodie's pricing page listed Core at $478.80 a month billed monthly or $399 a month billed annually, Pro at $1,198.80 or $999, and Enterprise on request. On the annual bill Core comes to $4,788 a year by our arithmetic. Agency Growth was $275 a month billed annually or $330 billed quarterly. OperStack Watch costs $35 a month or $299 a year.
- Does Goodie have a free trial?
- Yes, for Core: the pricing page shows a 7-day free trial and calls Core fully self-serve. Pro and Enterprise start with a demo call. The page does not say whether a card is needed. Goodie's free tools are a technical Agent Site Audit, an llms.txt generator and an industry index. The OperStack free check shows ChatGPT's live answers to three buyer questions with no account.
- Is there a cheaper alternative to Goodie for a small business?
- OperStack Watch costs $35 a month, about a fourteenth of Goodie Core billed monthly. Every week it asks ChatGPT and Perplexity ten buyer questions with web search on, names who they recommend instead of you, scores ten of your pages and emails the text to paste. It covers two AI engines, not five, and has no revenue attribution. Run the free check first.
- Which AI engines does Goodie track?
- Core tracks ChatGPT, Google AI Overview, Perplexity, Google AI Mode and Microsoft Copilot. Pro adds Gemini, Amazon Alexa and Sparky. The Enterprise card says up to 13 engines and its table adds Claude, Meta AI, DeepSeek and Grok, although the FAQ on the same page mentions 12. OperStack Watch asks ChatGPT and Perplexity once a week with web search switched on.
- Does Goodie write content for you?
- Yes. Every plan includes an AEO content writer, blog generation and content optimization, and Core meters that work with 50 action credits a month. You edit the draft in Goodie and publish or export it. OperStack writes something smaller: one opening paragraph for a weak page, with every sentence built from facts already on your site.
- Can I cancel Goodie at any time?
- On a monthly subscription, yes: Goodie's Services Agreement lets either side cancel before the end of the billing cycle, effective at its end. Other terms need 30 days' written notice before they renew, and fees are non-refundable regardless of usage. OperStack Watch can be cancelled from any email, nothing is charged in the first 7 days, and paid periods are not refunded.
