OperStack vs Peec AI: a weekly ChatGPT and Perplexity report with text to publish
OperStack Watch brings 10 weekly buyer questions in ChatGPT and Perplexity, 3 rival comparisons, repeated page checks and proposed fixes into recurring reports for $35 a month. Peec Starter costs $95 monthly for 50 daily prompts across 3 models, checked on 26 September 2026. Watch gives a business owner a continuing record of what changed and the page work to review next, with a free check before subscribing.
OperStack is our product. We compare documented scope and prices, with sources and limits shown below.
Choose OperStack if
- You want a weekly answer, not a daily dashboard: did ChatGPT and Perplexity name you for ten buyer questions, and who was named instead
- You want the paragraph itself, written from your own pages with the page it goes on, rather than a brief to write from
- You want to see a result before creating any account: the free check reads ten pages and asks ChatGPT three questions
- $35 a month or $299 a year fits your budget better than $95 a month or $960 a year
When Peec AI is the better choice
- You need enterprise brand analytics: SSO, many countries and data piped into Looker Studio or an API
- You want AI bot visits read from server logs and AI referral revenue joined from GA4

What you get for $35: one real week of OperStack Watch
This is the actual first report for a Phuket property brand we run, run on 26 September 2026 by the same code subscribers get. We hide the brand name because it is our own site, not a client.
Watch keeps this work going every 7 days: the same 10 buyer questions, the businesses named in the answers, 3 rivals measured beside your site and repeated page checks. Later reports compare the new observation with the previous week and include proposed fixes for the pages checked. You review and publish the changes.
-
"Best property advisors for foreign buyers in Phuket?"
not named Named instead: Butler Estates, Freedom Group Real Estate, ZODIAC Co., Ltd., Storm Real Estate, Subata Realty
-
"Which property buyer’s advisors should I use for researching beachfront and branded residences in Phuket?"
not named Named instead: Butler Estates, Issara Property, Pearl Property Phuket, Subata Realty, Twins Real Estate
-
"Who can help me compare Phuket condo and villa projects with a shortlist?"
named the site Also named: Etagi, Colliers, THAI.ESTATE, AIProperty Phuket
The fix of the week, as it arrived
For the question "Top firms to help foreign buyers evaluate Phuket developments before reservation?"
Add this to your homepage, just below the first section.
Before you publish: add the words "developments" to this paragraph if you sell them.
Every sentence in the paragraph comes from the site's own pages; the tool checks each one against a quote before it goes in. Answers change from run to run, so Watch asks the same ten questions every week and shows the trend. Seven days free, then $35 a month.
What are OperStack and Peec AI for?
For $35 a month, OperStack Watch puts 10 buyer questions to ChatGPT and Perplexity each week and adds page checks and proposed text. Peec Starter lists 50 daily prompts across 3 models for $95 monthly in the recorded pricing review. Watch is designed around recurring page work; Peec provides a broader set of observations and analytics.
-
Your pages get read and scored. The OperStack free check takes your address, picks up to ten pages from your sitemap, and gives them a score out of 100 for whether an AI system can open, identify and quote them. Watch repeats that on ten pages every week. How many of your pages Peec reads is not stated: its docs describe a site audit group inside Actions and a robots.txt check for AI bots, without a page count.
-
You get the paragraph, not the brief. Peec’s Actions list ranks what to work on and gives each item “The brief” for structure and “What to do” steps. Its own FAQ answers yes to the question of whether you still create the content yourself. OperStack writes it: when a page has no short answer near the top, the free check drafts one from the facts on your own pages, and Watch selects one priority fix from the sampled pages each week, with its address and proposed text. Every sentence comes from what your own site already says.
-
There is no prompt list to build. Peec asks you to write or choose your prompts, 50 of them on Starter, then pick three models. Watch uses ten questions of the kind a buyer of your type of business asks, and keeps them fixed from week to week so the trend means something.
-
You can see a result before any account exists. Peec has no free plan, and we found no public free checker on its site or in its sitemap; the trial starts with an account through Google, Microsoft, a work email link or SSO. The OperStack free check needs nothing: it runs three live ChatGPT questions with web search on and shows who was named, split into three groups: real rivals, names that are not rivals (portals, law firms and the like), and names it could not place.
-
The weekly report arrives by email. A built-in weekly email is not stated on Peec’s pages. Its week-over-week digest, called Weekly Visibility Pulse, is an MCP prompt you run inside Claude, Cursor or another MCP tool, or schedule yourself as a task that posts to Slack. Watch simply emails you every 7 days.
-
The price is about a third of Peec Starter’s. On our pricing page, Watch is listed at $35 a month, or $299 for a full year. Peec Starter is $95 billed monthly or $960 a year billed annually (our arithmetic from $80 a month), and a fourth AI model adds $30 a month.
-
Nothing to connect. Peec’s bot analytics need a CDN or log connection and its referral numbers need GA4. Watch needs a site address. Its fixes are almost all words to paste, and anything that truly needs a developer is labeled.
-
Leaving is simple. Watch charges nothing for the first 7 days and stops whenever you cancel. On a Peec 12-month plan, the terms ask for 30 days’ notice before the year ends, and there is no automatic refund for ending a fixed term early.
What is Peec AI for, and what is OperStack for?
Peec AI is an AI search analytics platform for marketing teams and agencies; OperStack is a weekly ChatGPT and Perplexity check with the fixes written out, built for owners of small and mid-size businesses.
OperStack, in plain words
OperStack starts from the site, not from a prompt list. The free check scores ten pages and asks ChatGPT three buyer questions. Watch turns that into a weekly letter: ten questions to ChatGPT and Perplexity, three rivals measured beside you, ten pages re-scored, and the priority page fix with the text to paste. It asks ChatGPT and Perplexity only, and it carries no keyword or backlink data.
How much does Peec AI cost?
Peec Starter was recorded at $95 monthly or $80 per month when billed annually on 3 October 2026, giving a calculated $960 annual total. Watch costs $35 monthly or $299 annually. Check the checkout currency and selected models: extra engines and additional projects alter the comparison.
| Plan | Billed monthly | Billed annually | Prompts | AI answers a month | Scope |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Peec Starter | $95 | $80 a month, $960 a year | 50 | 4,500 | 1 project, 1 country, no API |
| Peec Pro | $245 | $205 a month, $2,460 a year | 150 | 13,500 | 2 projects, 3 countries |
| Peec Advanced | $495 | $420 a month, $5,040 a year | 350 | 31,500 | 5 projects |
| Peec Enterprise | Custom | Custom | Custom | Unlimited | Sales contact, annual |
| OperStack Watch | $35 | $299 a year | 10 a week | ChatGPT and Perplexity answers to 10 questions weekly | Your site, 3 rivals, fix text |
The yearly Peec totals are our arithmetic from the annual monthly rate; Peec’s toggle shows the saving as $180, $480 and $900. Paying Starter month by month for a year comes to $1,140, almost four times Watch’s $299 (our arithmetic).
Three details change the bill.
Currency. Our browser saw US dollars on the pricing page. Peec’s own comparison page against Profound quotes Starter at EUR 89 and Pro at EUR 199. We used the pricing page; check which currency your checkout shows. Our Profound comparison covers the other tool on that page.
Extra engines cost extra. Every self-serve plan includes three models. A fourth costs $30 a month on Starter, $70 on Pro and $140 on Advanced, billed annually, because the price scales with the prompts in the plan.
Agencies buy credits. One prompt on one model for one day uses one credit. Agency Essential is $205 a month billed annually for 10,000 credits, which Peec equates with 111 daily prompts and 3 pitch projects; Growth is $420 for 25,000 credits; Scale is $675 for 65,000 credits; the top tier is quoted on request.
Is Peec AI worth it for a single small business?
For a business without a marketer, the practical question is who will turn the report into edits: Peec supplies data and a brief, and by its own FAQ the content is yours to create. A small business owner needs the finished paragraph and the page it goes on, which is what Watch sends for $35 a month.
Consider what Starter asks of a dental clinic or a two-partner law firm. First, a list of 50 prompts, written or chosen, and a choice of three models. Then, if the owner wants the traffic side, a connection from the site’s CDN or server logs and a GA4 property. After that, a dashboard to read each week and an Actions list with briefs. The clinic still has to write the new text, because Peec’s FAQ says so plainly. Starter collects 4,500 AI answers a month; the open question for a small business is who turns them into changes on the site.
Watch removes those steps. The ten questions are chosen for your kind of business, the names instead come straight from ChatGPT and Perplexity answers, the score shows which of ten pages is weak and why, and the letter carries the words to paste. If the owner does nothing but read the email and paste the fix of the week, the site still gets one concrete change every seven days.
A fair way to decide is to start with the free result. Run the free check on your address. If ChatGPT already names you in all three answers and your pages score well, you may need neither tool yet. If it names someone else, the check shows who, and Watch keeps that list current every week.
How does Peec AI check AI visibility, and how does OperStack?
Peec Starter samples 50 prompts across 3 models daily, while Watch asks ChatGPT and Perplexity 10 questions weekly and checks a website sample. Peec Actions supplies briefs and can include text in some template actions. Watch sends proposed page text in its report; both approaches still need factual review before publication.
| Peec AI Starter | OperStack Watch | |
|---|---|---|
| What you enter | Brand, domain, prompts, competitors | A site address |
| Engines | 3 of ChatGPT, AI Mode, AI Overviews, Copilot, Gemini, Naver AI | ChatGPT and Perplexity, web search on |
| Questions | 50 prompts you write or choose | 10 buyer questions, fixed |
| Frequency | Every 24 hours per model | Every 7 days |
| Rivals | Competitors you add; brands mentioned at least twice suggested | Names ChatGPT and Perplexity gave instead of you; 3 rivals measured beside you |
| Your pages | Page count not stated | 10 pages scored on five areas |
| Crawler access | robots.txt against 40+ AI bots from 20+ vendors | robots.txt for 14 AI crawlers and fetchers |
| Output | Visibility, Position, Sentiment, cited sources, ranked Actions | Named or not per question, the names instead, a paragraph to paste |
The OperStack score is what connects the answers to the pages. Its five parts and their weights are public:
| Part of the score | Points | What the check looks for |
|---|---|---|
| Can AI crawlers get in | 25 | Rules in robots.txt for each of 14 AI crawlers and fetchers |
| Is there a map for agents | 15 | A working llms.txt |
| Is the business clear | 20 | Organization or business schema, FAQPage, page type, canonical, Open Graph |
| Is there something to quote | 25 | 300+ words, an opening answer with a figure below the H1, 3+ H2s, a table |
| Can it be dated and trusted | 15 | Dates in meta or schema, named sources, lastmod in the sitemap |
Peec’s own pages disagree on one point that matters for the table. The pricing page offers Naver AI and Microsoft Copilot among the six self-serve choices, while the agency page lists Claude and Perplexity in its six channels and leaves Naver and Copilot out. We used the pricing page. On Enterprise, Peec lists up to 13 models.
The collection method differs too. Peec’s docs describe browser automation of the logged-out interface, so its answers resemble what a signed-out visitor sees. Watch asks ChatGPT and Perplexity with web search switched on. Both approaches meet the same fact: the answer to one question changes from run to run. Watch handles that by asking the same ten questions every week and reporting the trend, with the date on every result.
What lands in front of you each week: a dashboard or a letter
Watch delivers its findings every 7 days by email, counted from the subscription start. Peec presents monitoring and Actions inside its app, with an MCP prompt for a weekly digest. Its documented options need a reader or scheduled task; a built-in recurring email was not stated in the reviewed sources.
OperStack Watch places ongoing comparison and practical page work in the same recurring report. Across 10 questions in ChatGPT and Perplexity it records the names returned, measures 3 rivals beside your business and repeats the page checks. Subsequent reports compare observations with the previous week and provide wording for the issues the check identifies. That lets an owner track a question over time while giving the editor a defined task. A Peec team can retain its daily multi-model records if they serve a separate reporting need, rather than treating one product’s percentage as equivalent to the other’s. Preserve the prompts and collection method with every export. The writing step also needs a named reviewer: website-derived facts can be outdated, and a proposed sentence may need a qualification before publication. Keeping that approval with the report makes the sequence reviewable without promising that the next set of answers will name the business more often.
- Give the daily analytics and weekly editing task distinct owners.
- Confirm each proposed claim against the current business offer.
- Retain the dated change with later Watch reports.
When you need a different kind of tool
Peec Starter includes 50 daily prompts across 3 selected models. Larger plans add reporting and organisational options for teams that need them. Watch is narrower: one weekly ChatGPT and Perplexity series with page findings and proposed wording. A team should preserve any additional engines or data connections that serve an existing decision.
- Inspect project, country and connector limits when several teams share reporting responsibilities. Those limits depend on the Peec plan.
- Retain connected traffic analytics when you need to investigate visits or revenue. A mention count alone cannot answer that question.
- Treat catalogue-level tracking as separate from checking whether buyers are given the store’s name. Watch does not inspect every product.
Our free visit counter offers a smaller record of referred visits. For keyword demand and backlink research, the Ahrefs comparison covers another distinct task.
Peec AI or OperStack for a clinic, an agency, a SaaS company or a shop?
A clinic, a 10-client agency, a SaaS business and a shop have different reporting requirements. Watch suits a small weekly set of ChatGPT and Perplexity questions tied to page edits. Peec covers more daily prompts and models. Select a scope your team can use, and retain any required engine or product coverage.
- A clinic owner
A clinic has a short list of questions that matter: which practice to see for a given treatment, in a given area, at a given price. Watch asks ten of that kind every week, names the clinics ChatGPT and Perplexity recommend instead, and sends the paragraph for the treatment page. Peec Starter would ask the owner to write or pick 50 prompts, read a dashboard and still create the content. If you are also looking at other trackers, see how OperStack compares with Otterly AI and ContextBolt.
- An agency with ten clients
Peec’s agency plans are billed annually from $205 a month, and the content work for each client still falls on the agency. With Watch, each client gets a weekly letter with named rivals and a priority page fix the agency can hand over as finished work. There is no agency tier on our pricing, so ten client sites on Watch cost $350 a month by our count, with no annual commitment. In pitches, the free MCP server puts the prospect and up to three rivals on one 100-point scale inside Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor, with no account.
- A SaaS company
People choosing software ask ChatGPT or Perplexity for shortlists and alternatives, and a product they name may enter the buyer’s consideration set. Watch reports that name every week and points to the comparison or pricing page that needs a clearer opening answer. Keep the date and the buyer question with each observation.
- An online shop
For a shop, Watch answers the store-level question: when buyers ask ChatGPT or Perplexity where to get a product type, is your store named, and who is named instead. Product-by-product tracking across a catalog is a different job and sits outside OperStack.
Running Peec and OperStack side by side, or moving over
Adding Watch beside Peec supplies a weekly email and proposed page edits for $35 monthly. Replacing Peec also changes the engines, frequency and history available. Before cancellation, inspect those differences and the contract term; keeping useful records is part of the move even when the new report is simpler.
What Watch adds next to Peec: the paragraph for each weak page, written from your own site, and the ten-page score that shows which technical item is holding a page back. Peec’s MCP reference mentions concrete edits with text in some template actions, but its FAQ still leaves the writing to you.
How to move from Peec without a gap:
- Run the free check on your site and compare the names ChatGPT gives with the competitors in your Peec project.
- Start Watch on our pricing page. The first 7 days cost nothing, and you can cancel inside them.
- On a monthly Peec plan, cancel; it ends with the current payment cycle. On a 12-month plan, send notice in text form, such as an email, at least 30 days before the year ends, and put that date in your calendar now.
- Expect no refund for ending a fixed term early: Peec’s terms refund prepaid fees pro rata only when Peec is at fault. Its terms also carry a provider-switching rule under the EU Data Act, which settles an annual fee against month-to-month charges for the time used; read section 10.3 before relying on it.
Peec’s MCP server and ours can live in the same Claude or Cursor setup. Peec’s needs an account with a project. Ours needs nothing, and it measures sites; your Watch reports arrive by email.
What our early sample recorded about supporting evidence
Our early sample of 496 sites (25 September 2026) retained only the 3 worst findings for each domain, so some reported issue shares are lower bounds. At least 21% lacked links to trust profiles and at least 13% stated figures without naming a source. These figures describe recorded page evidence, not the frequency of missing ChatGPT recommendations. Full study: 731 checks.
Source: OperStack free check study, 25 September 2026, on small-business websites in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia and Canada. Because the retained records were limited, an unlisted issue cannot be treated as an issue that passed inspection.
| Finding retained in the sample | Minimum share of scored sites |
|---|---|
| Missing trust-profile links | 21% |
| Images without alternative text | 20% |
| Missing or broken llms.txt | 18% |
| Figures without an attributed source | 13% |
Those rows suggest different editing decisions. A trust link should identify a real business profile or professional credential. Alternative text should communicate the image’s relevant content. A map should lead to current pages. A numerical claim should identify its source, scope and date. Adding generic words to all four places would not resolve the underlying problem.
For a team already using Peec Actions, compare the action with the affected page before drafting. Some template actions contain concrete text; others require new writing. Watch’s proposed wording also needs review against what the business currently provides, even when it was derived from the website.
A practical review can start with one commercial claim: follow its link, check that the source supports the wording and preserve any limitation. Use our cases page for context about owned examples, then maintain a separate record of your business’s edits and question results. A finding count is not a forecast of leads.
Our own site on the same check: oper-stack.com scores 93 out of 100 over 10 pages, measured on 7 October 2026. The number is measured again on every build of this site and never typed by hand.

Frequently asked questions
- How much does Peec AI cost?
- On 3 October 2026 Peec's pricing page showed Starter at $95 a month billed monthly or $80 a month billed annually, Pro at $245 or $205, and Advanced at $495 or $420, with Enterprise on request. Our browser saw US dollars, while Peec's own comparison page against Profound quotes EUR 89 and EUR 199, so check the currency at checkout. Each extra AI model costs from $30 a month, billed annually.
- Does Peec AI have a free trial or a free plan?
- There is a free trial but no free plan. Peec's official pages do not state the trial length; its terms say the period is set by Peec. Peec's comparison page describes it as a no-credit-card trial. You need an account to start, and we found no public free checker on the site or in its sitemap.
- Is there a cheaper alternative to Peec AI for a small business?
- OperStack Watch costs $35 a month or $299 a year, against $95 a month or $960 a year for Peec Starter. It asks ChatGPT and Perplexity ten buyer questions every week with web search on, names who they recommend instead of you, scores ten of your pages and emails the text to paste. It covers ChatGPT and Perplexity only and has no keyword or backlink data. The free check shows the approach first.
- Does Peec AI write the content for you?
- Partly. Peec’s Actions gives content briefs and steps, and some MCP action templates include concrete edits. Its FAQ says the customer creates the content. OperStack Watch brings proposed page text into the recurring email alongside question results, rival comparisons and page findings. The owner can review the wording against business facts, publish it and inspect the next report for changes.
- Which AI models does Peec AI track?
- Self-serve plans let you pick three models from ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overviews, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini and Naver AI, with more sold as add-ons from $30 a month. Enterprise lists up to 13 models. Peec's agency page names Claude and Perplexity instead of Copilot and Naver among its six channels, so the pricing page and the agency page disagree. OperStack Watch asks ChatGPT and Perplexity only, once a week.
- Can I cancel Peec AI at any time?
- On a monthly plan, yes: cancellation takes effect at the end of the current payment cycle. On a 12-month plan, Peec's terms ask for 30 days' notice in text form, such as an email, and the plan ends with the 12-month cycle. There is no automatic refund for ending a fixed term early. OperStack Watch can be cancelled whenever you like, and nothing is charged in the first 7 days.
- Does Peec AI have an MCP server?
- Yes. Peec runs a remote MCP server with guides for Claude, Cursor, VS Code and Windsurf, included on all paid plans, and it needs a Peec account with a project. OperStack's MCP server is free and needs no account at all: it scores any site out of 100, compares two to four sites on one scale, checks llms.txt and reads your AI visit counter.
